New team on our saddles

We at fi’zi:k are super excited to announce our partnership with Team Myogenesis.com p/b United Healthcare. The team has some great goals on promoting cycling not only to their community but to a greater mass outside of their local area. Team Myogenesis wants to educate people on how to have a healthy and active lifestyle through cycling. The team is especially putting emphasis on kids, as there is a big problem in our country with childhood obesity, by having various clinics and events that engage kids in their community and by having people donate to this cause through their web site: http://www.myogenesis-racing.com/

This years squad is made up of some great new talent along with some great experienced riders. Some have even finished second to former National Champion George Hincapie. Definitely look for this team in 2009 and in the future as they become an even greater cycling team. Check out their website and see how you too can get involve with this great team and cause.

Yes, fizi’:k is the official saddle of SSWC09. Guaranteed that this race/event will be the best of the year! So check out the site: http://sswc09.wordpress.com/ . You still have until the 23rd of January to send in your art/ entry form. Just look at the list of athletes that are already committed. For sure you’ll not want to miss the chance to rub elbows with Ned “The Lung” Overend, or have a few pints of beer and a game of bike polo. I hope to see a lot of you out there come September!!

Greetings from fi’zi:k athlete central - grass roots edition!

I'm John C, and I'd like to welcome all teams and riders who rock "the :k." Throughout this season, I will be working with great teams and individual riders who choose nothing but the best riding gear and support. Roadies, cross-country, tri, xterra athletes and everyone in between - you are welcomed to join.

This is a new initiative that we at fi’zi:k are putting together for the 2009 season, and we're launching it NOW!

Being a single speed endurance racer myself, I'm now getting my feet wet in the All-mountain-Enduro category. I know how hard it can be to find companies that are willing to support athletes. This is my area of focus with Fi’zi:k. I'm working to outfit teams and individuals across North America to help you to kick off the season on what we believe are the best saddles. If you or your team has race resume or promotional material send it my way for review and consideration. j.cordoba@fizik.com

I'll be attending events throughout the year to meet and support fi’zi:k riders. So far I will be at Sea Otter, Downieville Classic (tentative), and SSWC09 (As long as my piece-of-art entry makes the cut). If you have local event that you think Fi’zi:k should attend for you or your team, then by all means let me know, and I will take it into consideration with my schedule.
